What we'll do
Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we'll review and act within 10 business days. We may:
- Remove or disable access to the content
- Notify the uploader of the takedown
- Pass along your contact information so they can file a counter-notice
Counter-notices
If you uploaded content that was taken down and you believe this was in error, you can file a counter-notice. Email dmca@honestabeentertainment.com with the takedown reference ID and your written explanation.
Repeat-infringer policy
Users with multiple substantiated DMCA notices have their accounts terminated and any content they've uploaded disabled. We log all DMCA notices for our records.
Misuse
Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Consider whether the content qualifies as fair use before submitting.
