The Alarm.com Hub is a gateway that uses Z-Wave to control compatible home automation devices inside a residential or small business space. It communicates directly to the cloud service via cellular and broadband connections. A user is able to remotely control the panel and its associated Interactive Services (including Z-Wave devices) via a web application or mobile app.
