Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor is a wireless sensor for the Ring Alarm system which provides users the ability to know when a glass break is detected. After installing the sensor on a wall or ceiling or shelf and setting up the sensor in the Ring app, monitor and receive notifications when the glass break is detected. The Ring Alarm Base Station is required to enable Glass Break Sensor features and functions within the Ring app.
Will it keep working?
It works locally over Z-Wave, so it keeps running even if Ring shuts down the app or the servers. One thing to note: some features need a cloud subscription — the basics still work locally.
